Hosted in Basel for many years, the event has a relaxed, familiar attitude. Attendees come ready to discuss their CMC needs, but the split between large-molecule and small-molecule dilutes the addressable number of participants for most.

Well-organized, nice people and discussions, relatively quiet, and few buyers around.
What did you like best about the event?
The venue was very nice. Presentations with scientific content were very good, especially the ones with some chemistry.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Most discussions were with other vendors. There were not a lot of buyers around, and it was very difficult to organize meetings with the few that were supposed to be registered.

What did you like best about the event?
Hosted in Basel for many years, the event has a relaxed, familiar attitude. Attendees come ready to discuss their CMC needs, but the split between large-molecule and small-molecule dilutes the addressable number of participants for most.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Require a reason for rejecting meetings (e.g., time unsuitable, not open to meeting on the proposed subject) and the potential to exchange Business Cards.
