"Had a great experience - felt the sessions were very well-organized."

The panels and discussions were great. I liked the hours of the exhibit hall - this made a lot of sense as the happy hour coincided with attendees being in the exhibit hall and thus we had a good amount of booth traffic.

For me, the ability to convene twice a year with this network is invaluable. I got to meet new like-minded folks to continue building my network. The content was, as always, cutting-edge and interesting, and this year didn't disappoint, especially regarding the content around AI and equity. Being able to walk to cities is also very valuable.

What did you like best about the event?
For me, the ability to convene twice a year with this network is invaluable. I got to meet new like-minded folks to continue building my network. The content was, as always, cutting-edge and interesting, and this year didn't disappoint, especially regarding the content around AI and equity. Being able to walk to cities is also very valuable.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I think the Fall events are always a bit tricky because they are co-located with Defense Tech, which limits the content a bit - I think maybe having an extra session and just having the expo run the whole day might help with that. I think it would also be fun/helpful to somehow have speed-dating networking-type events or just another way to better understand who is in the room to help facilitate networking and ensure we use our time most effectively.

What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I think the only confusing part was the fact that the event was Defense Tech Connect in a lot of emails and on the app, though Smart Cities Connect was a subset of that. I found that a bit confusing so it would be better if there was clearer distinction in the future.
