C even connect was a great event to attend, even though I'd only attended it virtually and I hope to get back to in person next year. My favorite session that I attended was one on hotel contracting for the future. It offered wonderful tips for working with hotels and making sure that you could get the most advantageous contracts for your events.

Overall, it was great. The training was really well done and Zoe was fantastic. The tradeshow was great and everyone was engaged and excited to be together. I think there should have been more communication on transportation to Caesar's Forum. The food was not great, especially the breakfasts.

The keynote speakers were fantastic and very engaging. The outside aspect was lovely in regards to covid and enjoying the weather.

The breakfast food and the communications on transportation could be better. The private check-in area at the hotel was really nice, but was not communicated well on-site.

What did you like best about the event?
Cvent Connect was amazing! It gets better every year! The branding examples both onsite for the live-in-person experience and also the digital branding for the Virtual attendee experience represent the very best in Cvent brand recognition as well as branding opportunities for sponsoring Exhibitors. The Training Camp experience gave me a deep dive into the product and prepared me for the certification test through Cvent Academy. The Feature Flash sessions are bite-sized briefs that ensure I know what features exist within the portfolio and how I can use them to their full potential. Spectactular session content runs the gamut from success stories with real world application that I can use in my event program to product deep dives and thought leadership to help me evolve my event program in the ever-changing events industry and environment. Keynote sessions help me understand Cvent's vision, the product roadmap, and include guest celebrity speakers who inspire me. The best part of all is being able to engage with Cvent staff and other attendees, both live-in person onsite and even through attendee-to-attendee chat, Q&A, using the Discussions technology in the Virtual Attendee Hub. Every year I come away with more in value through product knowlege, industry leadership, and networking connections than the monetary cost to attend the event. Cvent always delivers above and beyond in value.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Add locking cubbies, preferably sponsored so they don't cost Cvent a thing, so I can lock my purse or swag bag and not have to lug it around with me, especially if my hotel room is far away.

For favorite speakers, the Event Management product team led by McNeel Keenan - so much value in the Product Roadmap session! I loved Nyle DiMarco - so inspiring! Morgan Noble and Emily Butler knocked it out of the park with their Webinar training camp and Feature Flash sessions, respectively. I loved Chuck Ghoorah in his main stage panel, and Reggie was excellent on main stage.

In some of the smaller sessions the content was hard to see on the screens. The AV needed to ramp up projectors in those spaces. I wished we had access to the slides shared because they were hard to see. I might also suggest extending some of the sessions to 45 minutes to allow for more Q&A. Especially sessions regarding things like ROI. Also I was surprised there weren’t more AV vendors.

What did you like best about the event?
They allowed people to participate in so many ways (in person, virtual, hybrid). There was something for every type of user - whether hotel or client side, whether into housing or web design, there was something for everyone
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Some of the virtual sessions didn’t seem to work. I could add to my calendar virtually but then couldn’t see the session.
