Great speakers with excellent acoustics, which made for really compelling sessions. The atmosphere in the exhibition hall was electric, and the parties were also excellent.

I appreciated how the app simplified tracking of ongoing topic sessions and masterclasses, which made it easier to plan according to our schedules and areas of interest. Additionally, it streamlined the process of booking appointments with other attendees, speakers, and organizations for networking, fundraising, and potential business partnerships.

    What did you like best about the event?
    What I like most is the possibility to network with other tech companies in the ecosystem. The app also worked very well, and most of the people were committed to the meetings scheduled in the app.
    What could the organizers do to improve the event?
    Inviting more financial services institutions (banks, big fintech) would be great.

    It is an amazing, diversified experience.
    What did you like best about the event?
    The organization and ease of access. The events were on time, and there was good time management between the different schedules.
    What could the organizers do to improve the event?
    I would suggest they add a program where VCs interact with founders. This will make it easy for the founders to look for funding but avoid getting in the way of investors.

    Excellent venue, well organized. The sessions covered topics that were highly pertinent to the tech space, providing valuable knowledge and insights.
    What did you like best about the event?
    I appreciated how the app simplified tracking of ongoing topic sessions and masterclasses, which made it easier to plan according to our schedules and areas of interest. Additionally, it streamlined the process of booking appointments with other attendees, speakers, and organizations for networking, fundraising, and potential business partnerships.
    What could the organizers do to improve the event?
    The two stages provided an ideal setup for attendees, but soundproofing would have greatly improved the experience. Noise from the exhibition area often disrupted sessions, especially on the Monies Point stage, making it challenging to engage fully. The cocktail tables were too small for lunch, accommodating only two people at a time. This led to waiting or being left with plates in hand while searching for available seating.

    The right recipe for serious tech investors and startups. There is probably some negative impact on attendance and productivity due to the overall lack of VC capital.
    What could the organizers do to improve the event?
    Pre-conference survey (3 months out?) to understand the big topics everyone is grappling with. Get DFI sponsorship. Some complaints that investors not based in Africa didn't meet with startups, especially African-led ones: Speeddate session? An Ask The Investors session is always great.
